Monthly assemblies for the whole school are held in the library and in May we also gather for a weekly concert. Students are given opportunities to perform for among them are many wonderful singers, fiddlers and pianists.   Professional and amateur musicians from the Hornby community are also invited to perform providing students with diverse and often eclectic musical experiences.   As our music month happens to coincide with the Hornby Island Blues Festival, we are kindly gifted a free concert by one of their renowned ‘Blues’ musicians.
